What is the difference between Plan B and Ella?

If taken early enough, Plan B and Ella are both effective at preventing an unwanted pregnancy. However, Ella may be taken up to 5 days following contraceptive failure and requires a prescription. Plan B is available without a prescription but must be taken within 3 days (72 hours) to be effective.
